Synopsis
A waitress, desperate to fulfill her dreams as a restaurant owner, is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human being, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him.

- Tiana: A 19 year old African American woman from a working-class family. She has a strong work ethic and dreams of opening her own restaurant.
- Prince Naveen: The 20 year old prince of the (fictional) country of Maldonia. Due to his irresponsibility, he has been cut off from his family’s fortunes.
- Doctor Facilier: A voodoo witchdoctor, who curses Naveen at the behest of Lawrence.
- Lawrence: Prince Naveen’s valet, he covets Naveen’s wealth.
- Eudora: Tiana’s mother.
- Charlotte “Lottie” La Bouff: Tiana’s wealthy childhood friend.
- Eli “Big Daddy” La Bouff: Lottie’s father.
